Beautiful concept and scene.  It seems, at my point of view, her skin is to dark and it difficult to appreciate the shadows and lights even the structure. I suggest to use other blue tone like moonlight.  Water should cover partially the mermaid's tail to give the idea that it is inside water. Hope this suggestions are useful.
